I am Rahab … The Divorce

So we’re divorced now, and I am no longer sad about it.

I realize we made a move before we thought things through. The smell of your cologne, the width of your shoulders, and the size of your biceps made me miss-step.

I love you still, I always will.

We share the children made in love, truly gifts from God above. We will teach them that they are loved by their mother and father.

I will teach them to respect you and love you forever and ever. And when we are in the presence of each other, any hard feelings that may surface, I promise to keep still.

So we’re divorced now, and we have gone our separate ways, I will do my best to remember the good days.

So we’re divorced and we have both moved on. I’m sorry we could not make it but so glad we stopped faking. We will raise the children as loving parents should, uplifting and encouraging one another for the children’s good.

So we’re divorced now and I can finally say, “I am more than okay!”

May God order your steps according to His will, I pray that He will bless you and keep you because I loved you then and I love you still…

Because I am Rahab too.
