I Am Rahab….Sharing the word

I Am Rahab….Sharing the word

by Janice Richardson

I am grateful to share the word with you as we celebrate a new year.

We have been blessed with some heartfelt testimonies of God’s grace, favor, encouraging words, and biblical truths through I AM RAHAB BLOGGERS.

To recap some of the highlights:

2020 ushered us into a whirlwind of the unexpected; some unwelcome challenges but also some much-needed rest and resets even into 2021.

Now we have the Delta variant, creating another Milk Crate Challenge of Life.

Jessica presented us with a profound thought: The question is not is the joy in failure? Instead, is the reward worth the try? And, the answer is always a resounding YES.

We are finding that everything isn’t always Pumpkin spice and everything nice; as we press through a great command to LOVE, we are at times finding the pain to love. Our mental health is constantly challenged as we’ve been instructed to stay six feet apart.

Lawanna reminded us that as we are staying six feet apart from each other that Jesus is always close to us.

Now we are in a space where breathing can be a challenge. Here again, Sylvia reminded us about the air that we take for granted and how we unconsciously partake in about 20,000 breaths a day on average. She reminded us that there is nothing more revealing about the power of God than the fragility of mankind.

Yet we still have to remain steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the works of the Lord in this Land of the Lost.

Miriam tells of twists and turns every day in this space, yet she reminds us that Jesus is still the way.

Staying grounded through the ANXIETY and depression of not knowing what our future holds, we still have to press on through these unpredictable times.

Monifa gives her testimony of how Staying focused became beneficial when there was a system in place through the support of family and friends.

Also, reminding us that hindsight is 20/20 and how We can do all things through Christ Jesus.

Janice also gracefully ushered us into the formula for Aging with Grace.

She reminded us what grace looks like and accepting changes and adapting with excellence.

In conclusion:

Each Lady walked us through some pretty sound advice in and through their own experiences.

So Instead of Falling Backwards in fear, let’s Spring Forth into this New Year with Faith in knowing that:

God is near to us no matter what comes or goes. Stay the course and never give up or give in.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Here is a NEW year’s Prayer

ABBA Father giver of Light and Love

We acknowledge you as Lord over us, and we praise your holy name.

Forgive us as we move forward in your word and will for our lives.

As we enter this new year with excitement and some ANXIETY, we are reminded of your unfailing Love.

Thank you for each woman who gave their gifts and talents to this blog that you have blessed us with.

Wrap your loving arms around them and send a host of angels to keep watch over them.

We thank you that iron sharpens iron as we continue to build each other up. Together we stand in the light of your love.

Be our light as we continue to move forward in faith in knowing that you have already paved the way.

I will continue in Love because

I Am RAHAB TOO

This is during my recovery of COVID. I was still depending on the oxygen
But God was truly the air that I breathed.
